Dr Papapetros will be retiring from Private Consulting Practice from 24 December 2018. He has been a qualified Medical Practitioner for 46 years and has been in consultant specialist practice for 35 of these years. During this time, he has held public and private appointments in teaching hospitals of the University of NSW. He is currently a Conjoint Lecturer at the Universities of NSW and Western Sydney. He currently has a public appointment with the Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital Dr Papapetros graduated in Medicine from the University of New South Wales in 1973. He spent the first 3 years of his career in both hospital and general practice obtaining a wide experience in both general medicine and general surgery. His Specialist Training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology began in 1976 and was completed in 1983 having trained in major teaching hospitals both in Sydney and the United Kingdom where he obtained a wide experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He is fluent in the English and Greek languages and whilst in practice, was able to provide a valuable service to the Greek Community for those women who were unable to speak English. |
